As we step into a new month, I want to say:

Everyone is entitled to tell their story.

When I shared mine, I didn’t do it so anyone can explain my experience for me. I lived it.

One thing I’ve learned is that kindness should never be assumed on behalf of someone else. It hurts to hear what women are going through, my dms are fulllll.

Please let’s do better.
Invite people.
Call them.
Include them.

Then allow them decide what they can and cannot handle.

We don’t always know what someone is carrying, but we can always choose compassion, inclusion, and thoughtfulness.

This new month, may we stop deciding what people can handle and start giving them the dignity of choice.

May this new month find us being a little kinder, a little more intentional, and a little more mindful of the people around us.

And for anyone walking through a difficult season, I hope you never have to question whether you belong in the room🤍

Happy New Month Faves 🤍

Few months ago, I would never have imagined writing this.

Last night, As I returned home from celebrating baby Rakeem, I got emotional 🥹

Not because of the party itself, but because it reminded me of a difficult season..

There was a time when I wasn’t invited to baby showers, naming ceremonies, children’s birthdays, or anything related to kids. Sometimes, these were people I knew personally. People I laughed with, worked with, and genuinely cared about.

I remember wondering what I had done wrong.

Later, I found out that some people intentionally left me out because I didn’t have children.

At the time, it hurt deeply.

Not because I wanted pity, but because I loved children. I wanted to celebrate with people. I wanted to share in their joy.

What many people don’t realize is that struggling to conceive is already hard enough. The waiting is hard. The questions are hard. The insults are hard. The silent prayers are hard.

Please don’t make it harder by excluding people.

A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration.

Invite her.

Love her.

Celebrate with her.

You never truly know what someone is carrying behind their smile.

And to every TTC woman reading this today, I want you to know that your story is not over.

There was a time I had no child.

Today, I am a mother of triplets. 💙💙💙

The same God who remembered me has not forgotten you.

I know the waiting can feel long.

I know there are days when your faith feels tired.

I know there are moments when it seems like everyone else is moving forward.

But please don’t give up.

Hold on.

Keep believing.

Keep hoping.

Your testimony is not impossible.

If there is one thing my life has taught me, it is that God can change a story faster than anyone expects.

What feels delayed is not denied.

And when your time comes, it will be beautiful.

To every woman waiting, I am sending you love, prayers, and a big hug today. ❤️

Your miracle will happen too. Soon🙏🏼🥹

Thanks big sis @aishalawal1 for my cowgirl hat 😃🤭

Behind the scenes of Iya Eta 🎬✨

One thing I’ve noticed since the movie came out is that some people expected Iya Eta to be my real-life story because the title means “Mother of Triplets.”

First of all, thank you for loving me enough to want to know my story. 🥹❤️

But Iya Eta is a fictional character. The movie is a comedy-drama created to entertain, make you laugh, and hopefully leave you with something to think about. While I may be a mother of triplets in real life, the character’s experiences are not a reflection of my personal journey.

My real story is mine to tell, and when I’m ready to share it, I’ll do it intentionally, honestly, and in the right way. Trust me, you’ll know when that time comes😊

For now, enjoy this little behind-the-scenes glimpse into the beautiful chaos of creating Iya Eta. 🎥💕✨

And tell me honestly… were you expecting the movie to be my true-life story too? 😄👇🏽Short video
