AI is changing healthcare. Africa cannot afford to be left out of the conversation.

As an Ambassador for the AI in Health Summit 2026, I’m inviting healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, innovators, technology experts and everyone shaping the future of health to join us in Abuja.

From improving diagnosis and clinical decision-making to strengthening health systems, research and access, AI presents enormous opportunities — but also important questions around ethics, equity, safety, data, regulation and responsible adoption.

The AI in Health Summit 2026 will bring together key voices across the health and technology ecosystem to explore not just what AI can do, but what it should do — and how we can harness it responsibly for Africa.

📍 Abuja, Nigeria
📅 19–20 October 2026

If you’re working at the intersection of health, technology, policy, research or innovation, this is a conversation worth being in the room for.

    “It’s natural!”

Is it though?

You blend your fruits, add pineapple, watermelon, ginger, cucumber, lemon… then pour in several spoons of refined sugar and call it a healthy drink. 😭

Fruit already contains natural sugars. When you add refined sugar on top of that, you’re simply increasing the total sugar content of the drink and misleading your customers.

Some people have reduced glucose tolerance and as seamless as it might seem, some people actually have this condition and undergo mild, moderate to severe symptoms following refined sugar ingestion.

Personally, whenever I take refined sugar, i start feeling dizzy, irritable, sluggish, light headed, reduced energy and mood and pains in all my joints.

In your mind you are eating healthy, meanwhile the vendor has other plans.

So please, let’s stop confusing “made with fruits” with “health” as there are some vendors that prefer to cut corners for more profit, totally ignoring the possible consequences for their customers.

Vendors, you can do better. Stop putting your customers in danger just for profit. T for thanks.Short video
