A band is a comparison, not a grade: there is no score here, no fake-follower percentage. Audience demographics, when supplied, are shown separately. How the ranges were chosen.

I came back to Nigeria with a vision, but what happened at Vision C camp was bigger than anything I could have built on my own.

Friends flew in from America, my family gave their money, time, talents and support. So many people showed up simply because they believed these kids deserved an opportunity.

One of the girls came to me on the first day and asked me about confidence. She was shy and barely spoke and by the last day, she was showing a completely different side of herself during the camp.

Another young girl shared her business and ended up receiving sponsorship to help take it further. Some kids earned scholarships and others distinguished themselves through their talents, leadership, creativity, discipline and the way they showed up throughout the camp.

Those are the moments that stay with me.

To every speaker who poured into these kids, every sponsor who invested in them, every volunteer who travelled across the world to be here, my family who gave so much of themselves and everyone who came out to support, encourage and simply see what we were building, thank you.

You didn’t just support a basketball camp. You helped create opportunities and I know this is only the beginning.

There are so many talented kids waiting to be discovered. So many more dreams waiting for someone to believe in them.

This is Vision C Nigeria.❤️🏀

@chloearnoldtaps @dareal_mk_off turned our basketball camp into a Dance Club 😂😂😂

@visioncorg is all about bringing people together, letting kids experience something new, and having a whole lot of fun while we do it.

Who had the best dance moves: the dancers or the hoopers? 👇🏾😂

Cameroon, we love you! 🇨🇲

    April 13, 2016.

We won our 73rd game, breaking the record for the most regular-season wins in NBA history.

One of the biggest nights of our careers.

And you know what everybody wanted to do when our game ended?

Get to the locker room and see what Kobe was doing. 😂

Because at the exact same time, Kobe Bryant was playing the final game of his career.

He gave us 60.

Think about it… we just made NBA history.. still couldn’t wait to watch Kobe.

That’s how much he meant to our generation.

We weren’t just his opponents. We were fans. We studied him. We competed against him. We were inspired by him.

And even on his way out, he gave us one last reminder of why.

60 points. Final game.

Mamba out. ✌🏾💜💛

Rest in peace, Kobe.Image

I was on the court when Kobe tore his Achilles.

He walked to the free throw line, knocked down both free throws, and then walked off the court.

The focus. The toughness. The refusal to quit. The ability to stay locked in even when everything hurt.

For my generation of players, Kobe wasn’t just someone we competed against. He was someone we studied. Someone who showed us what relentless preparation and belief in yourself looked like.

We all took pieces of that mentality with us, and we’re still trying to apply it in our own lives today.

The Mamba Mentality.

Kobe Bryant Day. 8.24. 💜💛

Forever inspired.
